A criminal becomes possessed by an ancient Mayan artifact that turns him into a bloodthirsty killer.

Four childhood friends decide to play a prank on an aunt of one of the four. Two enter the house and two others remain waiting in the car. When the alarm goes off, the two waiting in the car escape, leaving the other two to escape on their own. After that, the friends begin distrusting each other wondering what really happened during those three minutes in the dark inside the house.

Claudio, Juan and Vampire have been friends since their teenage years. One night, Claudio tells his friends he is being extorted by a police officer, so he needs a large sum of money. He asked them to perform a fake kidnapping, so they can obtain the money he needs from his own family. But soon after they got the money, Claudio has been kidnapped for real.

Marina, who was a primary school teacher in life, emerges seriously injured from a lake and after a long journey, arrives at the school where she once worked.

Ricardo has lived life on the edge after the untimely death of his grandfather. Alcohol & drugs consume him and hopes to avenge his grandfather's death someday. Ricardo longs to be saved from his darkened days and is also pursuing a career in singing.

“Out of Darkness: Cleveland“ will be shot in the real city of Cleveland, Ohio but takes place in a fictionalized version of it named Cleaveland. It is a city that needs saving. After a series of police shootings across the country, the Government steps in with the FORCE (Federal Officers Resisting Criminal Elements) to protect the residents. The story is seen through the eyes of a young Latina police officer who becomes part of the FORCE because she saved a number of police from a massacre. The story is not all black and white, as the Latina police officer/government agent deals with her questionably ethical supervisors, an urban legend about a shadow devouring criminals and a Senator who has come to town to shut the FORCE down after a shooting incident.
